Franconia Baptist Church (FBC) in Alexandria is pleased to have Pastor Aaron Kraft as its senior pastor since 2008. He was awarded a Master of Theology degree with from Dallas Theological Seminary  after previously graduating from Washington Bible College with a B.A. in Biblical Studies.

Aaron’s ministry experience includes service as the manager of missionary services for Central American Missions, where he worked to support the technology needs of CAM's missionaries in Central America, North America, Canada, and Europe.  Aaron was involved in local ministry at Cherrydale Baptist Church in Arlington, where he served as a deacon, outreach coordinator and small group leader for young adults before accepting the call into fulltime ministry.

Aaron also has a background in business, with a number of years experience in computer engineering.   Prior to entering the ministry, he was an executive in a dotcom startup and later worked for AOL Time Warner and Humana Insurance Co. as an information systems analyst.  Aaron's background in the business/technology sectors of Northern Virginia help him relate to the challenges faced by many of the families in the fast-paced Washington DC metro area.
 
Aaron and his wife, Carrie, have two children – 6-year-old Jonathan and 3-year-old Jacqueline. Carrie brings her own special gifts to FBC. She has a Masters in Reading from the University of Virginia and worked for a number of years in the Arlington and Dallas area public school systems. As an educator and a mother, Carrie has a heart for children and an understanding of the pressures facing mothers of small children.
 
Aaron maintains office hours from 9:00A.M. to 2:00P.M. from Tuesday through Friday, but is available outside of those times if needed.  If you would like to speak to Aaron please call the church office at 703-971-4475 or email him at aaron@franconiabaptist.org.  We would like to invite you to join us in one of our ministries. Discipleship Classes begins at 9:45 a.m. and morning worship starts at 11:00 a.m.  Franconia Baptist Church is located at 5912 Franconia Road, on the corner of South Van Dorn Street and Franconia Road in Alexandria. 

gibson familyCDC Director - Greg Gibson   

Greg Gibson is our Child Development Director here at Franconia Baptist Church.  Greg grew up in Spokane Washington and ever since graduating High School, God has led him down an exciting and adventurous path.

Greg has been a pastor, an associate pastor, a children’s basketball and cheerleading director, and also a youth pastor, serving for a total of over 18 years!  Before that, he worked at Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida.  It was in Florida where God began to give him a heart for children’s ministry.

Greg and his wife, Lisa, have two wonderful children, Andrew and Abigail.  The family loves to travel, lounge on the beach, or just stay home and spend time together.

randy_cathyOffice Manager - Cathy Reynolds

Cathy Reynolds is the office manager for Franconia Baptist Church.  She is the proud wife of Randy, a career Air Force officer and they were fortunate to live around the world in a 24 year military adventure!   They have two grown children, Christian and Stefani and a son-in-law, JJ.

The Reynolds’ enjoy travel, entertaining and service in the church.  As the Lord draws them closer to Himself they feel blessed to have the fellowship of believers at FBC.
