As the promises of God begin to culminate in Abram's life, God calls him to act in a way that is counter intuitive to the world. God calls Abram to be set part from the rest of the world for God. The call is the same for the faithful today as it was for Abram. In order to be set apart for God we must be faithful because God is faithful, we must be faithful by being set apart and we must be faithful by being obedient.
