Faithfulness is an ongoing proposition.  The very word in English suggests that it is something with which are to be filled.  It is not easy to be faithful.  It is not easy to be faithful when our faith causes others to look down upon us.  It is not easy to be faithful when our selfish flesh tells us to set aside faith for just a minute in order to indulge our desires.

God demands faithfulness from His people in the big things and the small things even when the world around us may punish us for our faithfulness to Him.
