It's wonderful to know you are saved.  But what are you going to do tomorrow? Just 'being' a Christan isn't enough.  Accepting the gift of salvation is a beginning; it requires faithful obedience and maybe sacrifice.  How do we expect anyone to read their Bibles if we don't read ours?  How do expect anyone to serve others when we don't serve?  How do we expect anyone to disciple when we don't disciple others?  Faithful obedience also relies on the promises of God-that He will supply all of our needs (not necessarily our wants); that we have access to faith to help us through the trials of life; that through salvation we have victory over death.
