Belief in the miracle of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ opens our eyes to new spiritual reality. Paul writes in his first letter to the Corinthians that the flesh and blood person cannot fully appreciate things that are spiritually appraised. When He foretold His own death, one of the things that Jesus told HIs disciples was that He was leaving so the Father could send HIs Holy Spirit to lead and guide us.
