There are lots of times in our Christian lives when we feel like we are walking backwards over a cliff not knowing exactly what is below and how we are going to get there.

The Bible teaches us that as difficult as this may be we must learn to face our fears by faith.

This morning we are going to continue our study of the book of Genesis with the first part of chapter 32.  The title of the sermon is “facing fears by faith” which may cause some to ask the question “as opposed to what?”  Believers in Jesus Christ are called to face our fears by faith as opposed to the flesh.
